Exploring European Expertise in Aviation Flight Training and Simulation
1 week until the 8th annual European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) arrives in beautiful Prague for the 2009 edition of the continent’s premier airline training event Supported by host carrier CSA Czech Airlines and organised by CAT Magazine, EATS 2009 will be held Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th November at the Clarion Congress Hotel.
The Conference theme “Exploring European Expertise in Aviation Flight Training and Simulation,” covers a wide range of topics including the latest on EASA flight crew licensing, the latest simulation technologies and training techniques, airspace integration, English language training, human factors, and sound environmental operations. And rounding out the Conference this year will be a look at the latest simulation technologies, including the new training device definitions and classes.
The EATS Conference has already generated huge interest and with 53 airlines preregistered for the 2009 event and still a few weeks to go, we are certain of a record breaking turn out. In total, EATS will bring together around 450 to 500 training professionals from airlines, regulators, equipment manufacturers and training providers.
The EATS Exhibition offers unrivalled networking opportunities with airline training professionals from Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. The EATS Conference and exhibition work hand in hand to give delegates a comprehensive insight in to the latest training developments. Showcasing the newest and most innovative equipment and services, EATS will give you the opportunity to discuss your training needs with both suppliers and training providers. Whether you’re buying, selling or looking for new training solutions, EATS can provide the contacts you require in one place and at one time.
In addition to the other activities at EATS, this year we will be hosting the IATA Training and Quality Initiative (ITQI) meeting. The ITQI Briefing takes place at the Clarion Congress Hotel on the Monday before EATS proper starts, at 13.00. The briefing is open to all registered EATS attendees allowing you to maximize the return on a trip to Prague by joining this influential forum discussing Evidence Based Training on Monday the 9th November, before attending the 2 days of EATS on the 10th and 11th November.
